TTD announced that on account of a lunar eclipse on November 8th, the Srivari temple shall remain closed for 11 hours from 08.30 hours to 7.30 pm.
A lunar eclipse occurs between 2.39 pm in the afternoon till 6.27 pm in the evening.
As a result, TTD said no break Darshan recommendation letters were accepted on Nov.7 and subsequently, there would be no break Darshan on Nov.8.
TTD said even Srivani trust donors break tickets and ₹300 Special Entry Darshan tickets were also canceled on lunar eclipse day.
TTD appealed to devotees to make note of the changes and plan their visit to Tirumala accordingly. The Temples of Srisailam and also Bhadrachalam have also been closed till the evening.
Yadadri in the state of Telangana has also been closed apart from many small temples across the Telugu states today on account of Grahanam.
