Telangana Tourism Development Corporation with its pioneering background of many firsts has once again come forward to operate Road cum Cruise package between Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailsam.
This year, the Corporation is ahead of other sister Corporations of adjoining states in starting the said Road cum Cruise Tour package last Saturday 11.08.2018 and hence the Tourists from Vishakapatnam, Guntur and other places have opted this TSTDC package and patronized it.
Further, several enquiry calls are pouring in at the call centres of TSTDC from various parts of both the Telugu States which speaks the patronage of the this monsoon’s first River Cruise Tourism Package of TSTDC.
The tourists termed the package as wonderful experience amidst the serene natural beauty while passing in 120 seated large Cruise of TSTDC. The tourists were enthralled with the experience of cruise tourism and termed it as a memorable tour. The package tour starts in non-A/C bus at 6.30 AM at Yatri Nivas, 7.00 AM
from CRO, Basheerbagh and reaches Nagarjuna Sagar at 10.00 AM. The Cruise tourism starts at Nagarjuna Sagar at 10.30 AM and after 4 12 hours of journey in cruise reaches Srisailam. Vegetarian lunch and tea twice area provided as part of the package. After making night halt at Srisailam and covering local sightseeing places, lunch, the tourists start at 1.30 PM and reach Hyderabad by bus at 6.30 PM. Speaking on this occasion, the Managing Director of TSTDC Sri.B.Manohar said that this opportunity is available after four years in a row and now only for about 3 months i.e. as long as sufficient water is available in the river between Nagarjuna Sagar and Srisailam.
He also termed this tour as “Tour of Tours” since two dams, pristine nature observation, pilgrimage of Srisailam temples, Hydroelectric project, Rajiv Gandhi Tiger Reserve and Nallamalla Forests are covered in one single go. He advised the tourists and other people to patronage this innovative Road cum River Cruise Tour.
