DGP Anjani Kumar said that Telangana State Special Police is very important in maintaining peace and security in the state. A review meeting was held today at the Telangana Special Police Head Office with the relevant senior officers on the Special Police Department. Battalions Additional DG Abhilasha Bisht, DIG M.S. Siddiqui and the commandants of all the battalions of the state attended the meeting. Speaking on this occasion, the DGP made it clear that continuous training is necessary to perform duties more efficiently. Anjani Kumar revealed that the rolling trophy will be presented among the battalions on the basis of competition for best performance of duties, administrative aspects in battalions, clean campus management, effective supervision and welfare programs. He said that along with the changing times, the police department faces new challenges in the maintenance of law and order and security duties, and to face these challenges, the professionalism of the field level officers to the supervisory officers should be improved so that they have the highest standards. For this, the DGP advised them to upgrade themselves on modern technology. He ordered to give utmost priority to solve the administrative problems of the staff immediately. It is mentioned that special training should be given in the driving and mechanic departments courtesy of the local transport department.
Meanwhile, to celebrate the New Year, the DGP cut a cake at the TSSP office and congratulated the officials. Additional DG Abhilash Bisht and other senior officials warmly welcomed Anjani Kumar, who came to the office for the first time after assuming the charge of DGP.
