Today TS police housing Corporation Chairman Sri. K. Damoder and DG of Prisons Sri Rajiv Trivedi IPS conducted 7 th Harithaharam and planted 100 srigandam and 100 mango plants. Chief guest appreciated the efforts of DG sir and Jail officials and inmates for saving the every rain drop by diverting to ponds and open wells and inagurated the boating in jail lake. Further, DG sir said that, the prisoners are taking very active participation in every phase haritharam and protecting the plants. DG sir performed rhe Bhoomi pooja for jail lakes to construct ALUGU (Weir) sluez gates, returning wall and DG sir inagurated the Record room and General kitchen, which works are done by the prisoners. Solis Hospital, ECIL conducted the eye camp and distributed the 60 spectacles to the prisoners, Solis hospital MD and other staff attended the programme. Open jail Supdt Dasharadha rami reddyChenchalguda supdt Srinivas and cherlapalli jail Supdt Sampath and other officers and staff participated.
