The Trump Government has taken a U-turn on the Visas issue. In a major relief to the techies, US resumed premium processing of H-1B work visas in all the categories.
The H-1B Visa Program permits US Firms to hire skilled foreign workers. Trump Administration has suspended the premium processing of H-1B visa in April this year for handle the numerous new petitions filed by aspirants. Finally, US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) resumed premium processing after five months.
A cap of 65,000 H-1B visas has been set for the financial year 2017-18. A 15-day processing time has been fixed. In case if the processing time isn’t met, The Agency will refund the Service Fee charged from Petitioner for Premium Processing.
