The President of USA Donald Trump declined to attend the Republic Day Celebrations here in India it is reported. The Indian Government has sent an Invitation to the President of America to be the Chief Guest for the Republic day which is a prestigious seven here in India.
But the USA authorities have confirmed that they have in fact received the Invitation from India, but Trump has not made any decision over it. It looks like the American authorities are peeved with the way India has signed an agreement to buy missiles from Russia.
USA is against the Missile deal being signed between Russia and India.
At the same time, Trump is also scheduled to address another meeting in America. However, some Tension is prevailing between India and USA over the defence deals that the Indian government is making since its inception.
On the other hand, the Rafale deal is bringing down the image of Modi, as the Congress calls it a scam.
