K Taraka Rama Rao will address the district in-charges and other office bearers today at the party office for the sake of membership drive. KTR will start the meeting this morning and impress upon the cadre to see that the party reaches every home in Telangana. It may be noted that the work for the construction of party offices is going on. The target is to see that the work of the party offices gets completed by Dasara.
The in-charge of the constituencies will also express their opinion formally and also informally with the working President KTR here. KTR, on the other hand, is trying to get a firm hold over the party like his father and President of the party K Chandrasekhar Rao who is also the Chief Minister of the state.
KTR is sure that they would reach one crore membership soon. The Congress and the TDP are almost on the death bed in Telangana while the BJP is trying to make its presence felt. They have won 4 MP seats which is a significant achievement for the party with just one MLA. The new working President of the BJP, Nadda is concentrating on the Telugu states.
A few TDP MLAs, from Andhra, are in touch with Nadda and they will cross over to the BJP it is reported. It looks like the fight will be between the BJP and TRS in the coming elections.
BJP target is to come to power in Telangana. This could be wishful thinking or a pipe dream for the BJP party.
