There is no limit to the leaders looking for MLC posts in TRS. K Chandrasekhar Rao the TRS boss has been promising people with these posts from time to time. There are 16 MLC posts which are coming up for the TRS leaders.
The cabinet expansion on one hand and the MLC posts, on the other hand, are keeping the leaders busy these days.
The latest is that KCR has decided to give one MLC post to MIM. MIM has been supporting TRS from the beginning and also alerted the Government when it was in crisis.
Taking this into consideration it is reported that KCR will give one MLC to MIM.
Home Minister Mahmood Ali may get one more term as an MLC. Saleem the other MLC is also looking for another term and he has good relations with KCR ever since he has joined the TRS from TDP.
KCR also wants to strike a balance with the MLC posts and also the Ministry on caste creed and community basis so that there would be no complaint from any community. P Mahendar Reddy and Pochamally Srinivas are the two names doing rounds in the political corridors. It is reported that the Political Secretary of CM Seri Subhash Reddy is almost confirmed for the MLC.
Apart from this the leaders who cannot be accommodated with the MLC posts will get nominated posts. Some of them could be drafted for the party work under KTR.
After Cabinet expansion and distribution of MLC posts, there will be some disgruntled elements in the party. KCR is an expert in dealing with the disgruntled elements.
