Telangana Rashtra Samithi working President K Taraka Ramarao today revealed that the party has 60 lakh membership in the state. Gajwel is on the top when it comes to membership.
Now KTR is sitting with the leaders so that they can decide on the names for the respective party committees across the state. KTR was in the party office today and has reviewed the process of membership and also the construction of the party offices in the districts.
The new party committee posts will be announced by this month-end it is reported. The district party offices will be ready by Dasara for the inauguration. There is a chance that the party chief KCR might go on a visit to all the districts and then would inaugurate the party offices.
KCR is scheduled to visit all the districts as it has been pending for a long time. When it comes to membership the TRS has about 60 lakh members while the BJP has got around 12 lakh membership on the whole. That means the TRS is 5 times bigger than the BJP.
On the other hand, the BJP has got just one MLA and TRS is running the government with an overwhelming majority. So it is no easy for the BJP to win the election next time and come to power.
It will remain as a pipe dream. The BJP has been talking to coming to power in the Telugu states since the last several decades.
