It will be a triangular contest at the National level in the coming elections. BJP-BRS and INDIA parties will fight the elections. The MIM will align with the BRS.
Now one India – One poll will not be implemented and the parliament elections will be held as per schedule.
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and Chief Minister KCR said the BRS was neither with the NDA nor with the Congress-led I.N.D.I.A alliance. The BRS was not alone, and was very much in the midst of friends.
Rahul Gandhi on the other hand said that they will not join India team of BRS is considered. Chandrashekhar Rao also targeted the I.N.D.I.A alliance for the first time, asking what was new about it.
In an indirect reference to the Congress that had cobbled together the alliance, he said it had ruled the country for over 50 years, but could not bring about any change. The NDA, which had been ruling for the last nine years also failed miserably he opined.
The change was imminent, and the time had come for it, he said. Now we can say that the opposition is divided into two groups. One under Rahul and the other under KCR.
This clearly helps the BJP to get the edge for winning the parliament seats.
While the BJP in the name of NDA will take the share of votes, the BRS and the MIM will divide the votes of INDIA paving the way for the victory of Modi.
