GIC took up the task of one Lakh saplings plantation at New Delhi to ease out the Pollution of Delhi in the future

Green India Challenge” took up this in initiative in collaboration Delhi Municipal Corporation.

MPs from different parties and states participated in this novel initiative

Green India Challenge undertook plantation at the vacant land of the Park and planted saplings at Narain Industrial Area in Karol Bagh Zone in North Delhi Municipal Corporation jurisdiction.

MP Sri J Santosh Kumar said the Green India Challenge Programme, which was launched four years ago, is giving good results as many people across all walks of life are voluntarily coming forward to take up the challenge.

The programme is being organised in both the Telugu states and the efforts are being made with an aim to extend it through out the country.

YSRCP Parliamentary Party Chief Sri Vijay Sai Reddy stated that the young MP (Santosh Kumar) has taken up an ideal programme and he should be congratulated for the same.

Rajya sabha MP jairam ramesh congratulated the Green India Challenge for working towards increasing the green cover and reducing the challenges thrown by the pollution.

Sanjay Singh (AAP MP) said this kind of initiative is very much needed in area like Delhi. Wished green india challenge must go long way.

Anil Desai, Member of Rajya Sabha (Shiva Sena) said Green initiative is the need of the Hour across country. He congratulated entire GIC team.

Ramky Organisation came forward to join the Green India Challenge programme in Delhi. Ramky organisation Chairman, MP RS Sri Ayodhyarami Reddy came forward to adopt a park on behalf of his organisation as a social responsibility.

Member of Parliament from both the houses along with J Santosh Kumar participated in the event. They include SriJairam Ramesh, Sanjay Singh (AAP MP) Binoy Visvam (CPI), Anil Desai, Member of Rajya Sabha (Shiva Sena)Sir Mopidevi Venkataramana, Sri Magunta Srinivas Reddy, Gorentla madhav, Ms Vanga Geeta, Sri Mithun Reddy, Sri Krishna Devarayulu, Sri YS Avinash Reddy, Sri Gorentla madhav, Sri K Keshav Rao, Sri Nama Nageswara Rao, Sri G Ranjit Reddy, Sri M Srinivas Reddy, Ms Maloth Kavita, Sri Venkatesh Netha, Sri B Lingaiah Yadav, Sri KR Suresh Reddy, Sri P Dayakar, Sri P Ramulu and other MPs participated.

Singareni Collieries Companies Director (Finance) Sri Balaram and other GIC coordinators participated, in the event.Smt.Sashanka ala IAS deputy commissioner NDMC also participated in this programme.
