Thanks to the dynamic leadership of KCR the man who has the vision and KTR the man who has implemented the same. The TRS has been instrumental in developing the greenery to a larger extent.
The Government has been encouraging agriculture also in many ways from time to time.
The provision of water for irrigation is a hallmark example for saying that KCR is for the welfare of the farming community. Not only in rural areas, but also in Urban areas, the Government is providing green cover.
Now the GHMC after identifying around 500 open spaces, has taken up dense tree plantations and developing them as tree parks.
This initiative was also taken up at other facilities such as playgrounds and community halls by leaving apart the activity area.
To provide a good environment, the GHMC is developing these tree parks, mostly in colonies and planting saplings under Telanganaku Haritha Haaram. As part of it, unproductive trees, plants and shrubs are being cleared at unmaintained lands to plant the saplings.
