A boy wanted to transform into a girl since he was in 10th standard but his parents had not accepted his decision so he came out of his home & joined a Transgender Community which is located in LB Nagar.
A missing case was filed by his parents at Shadnagar PS & they traced him & took him back home. This was repeated 3 to 4 times. Later without any intimation to his parents, he left his home & went to Siddipet where his parents were not able to trace him. His parents filed a missing Case at Gachibowli Transgender Helpdesk.
The transgender support Team traced him went to Siddipet & brought him back. Counselling has been given to him & his parents. As a result, his parents accepted him to be transgender.
Transgender Helpdesk provided her job & she made a promise that she will lead a respectable life & not join any transgender group.
The transgender community deserves the dignity & respect that most people take for granted & it is the first-ever ‘Transgender Community Desk’ set up at Gachibowli Police station in collaboration with SCSC.
