Rajya Sabha member Joginipalli Santosh Kumar’s Green India Challenge program is being continued in an innovative manner by different sections of the society.
The one crore plantation in one hour time being taken up by Santosh on the eve of TS CM KCRs birthday was a great success. Many of them complimented Santosh for doing this . It is a record.
Transco, Genco CMD Prabhakar Rao inaugurated the canteen and planted saplings as part of the Green India Challenge. It was at Yadadri Thermal Power Station in Damacharla.
On this occasion, he said that in order to reduce pollution in the environment, everyone should take responsibility for the the plantation and protection of the plants.
Rajya Sabha member Joginipalli Santosh Kumar said that the Green India Challenge is a very good program to bring awareness among the people. Congratulations to Santosh Kumar and his team for taking such a good initiative forward the CMD said.
From now on it was decided that the greenery will be increased in all the stations. Employees of the company also agreed that the plants be widely planted and preserved.
The event was attended by company directors, employees and others.
