The Trains and flights are likely to resume their services only in June it looks like. It is reported that the group of Ministers who met here in Delhi have decided that the air and rail transport should not be allied after May 3.
This is to follow the social distancing for some more time to avoid the Corona Virus. The Ministery has called up the Airline booking agencies and suggested them not to take any bookings. The Railways has also been suggesting not to open the reservations until and unless there is a go from the Minister for Railways Piyush Goel.
Taking all this into account one can be sure that the rail and air transport will resume only in June as things stand now. Right now the Corona cases are on the rise in many states.
The situation is no conducive to resume transport in the country as it involves big gatherings.
