The life of human start with a bicycle in his childhood and he knows the art of Balancing by using it. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu promoted the use of bicycle, calling it a simple, affordable and environment-friendly means of transportation.

Today Venkaiaih has started a bicycle rally. He suggested that it is the best way to keep fit. Some political parties are using Bicycle as their election symbol.

As long as the world exists the cycle exists and there is no alternative to it.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata did stated “Bicycles empower. Bicycles are environment-friendly. Our Govt in #Bengal has distributed 1 crore+ bicycles to boys/girls of all communities under Sabooj Sathi scheme, enabling them to attend school even from far-off places. This has reduced drop-out rates.”year, World bicycle day is observed on June 3.

The date of June 3 was declared as World Bicycle Day by the United Nations General Assembly after it acknowledged the versatility, uniqueness and longevity of the two-wheeler.

The UN also took note of the fact that bicycles are also affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport. The day aims at promoting the use of bicycles for a cleaner environment and a healthy lifestyle.

Cycling is one of the simplest exercises that can help us maintain good shape and health. Bicycles are also beneficial for the environment as they do not require any fuel.

World Bicycle Day is observed every year by organising bicycle rides at the national and local levels to strengthen physical and mental health and develop a culture of cycling in society.
