The Tirupathi LS seat has become very prestigious for the ruling party YSRC and the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. The YSRC must retain to say that the people are in fact with the policies and welfare schemes of the YSRC.
Both the TDP and the Congress are no where in the picture here, but they will definitely help the BJP in trouncing the YSRC here in Tirupathi. Being hub of the Hindu religion with the world popular Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthnama in Tirupathi, the BJP will put all its strength in wresting the seat from the YSRC.
JanaSena is ain alliance with the BJP and that makes the task somewhat easy for the party. But the YSRC is not behind, they are also doing their level best to get back the seat again. The BJP has expressed confidence on winning the Tirupathi LS seat, where a by-election is necessitated by the demise of the incumbent MP B Durgaprasdada Rao of the YSRC.
Tirupathi is like Macc for the Hindus and the BJP gets the LS seat, then it is like the beginning in the state of Andhra Pradesh from the Pilgrim city.
The BJP has been aiming for power both in Telangana and also Andhra Pradesh since decades. But nothing happened so far. For the first the BJP under Bandi Sanjay made some impact in Hyderabad.
