Buoyant with the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to pull out all stops in making the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ successful as mooted by the former and start it from legendary revolutionary Komaram Bheem’s village of Jodeghat in Adilabad district from August 17 and continue till the Hyderabad Liberation Day of September 17.

In a celebratory mood following the successful visit of Mr. Modi, Dr. Laxman and other top leaders – G. Kishan Reddy, NVVS Prabhakar, said that Mr. Modi laying the foundation stone for key infrastructure projects — a fertiliszer plant, railway line and power project has spread the message among the TS people of the Centre’s resolve to take up development works here.
The Congress had ruled both the Centre and State simultaneously but has never taken up an initiative of this scale. Irrespective of the fact that our party has just one MP, the Prime Minister showed his affection to the TS people by giving his consent to invest a total of Rs.17,000 crore, he pointed out.“After all Telangana agitation was for water, power, railway lines, ,” he said.
