Timely delivery of justice has to be done

The Chief Justice of India NV Ramana today stressed the need for the timely delivery of justice. He was speaking in the meeting of Chief Judges, CMs along with Prime Minister Modi here at the Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi.

Ramana pointed out that some states are ignoring the implementation of decisions delivered by the courts which amount to contempt of court. The physical and infrastructural deficiency needs immediate attention he pointed out.

The judiciary and the state Governments must work, hand in hand he suggested. All are equal before the rule of law he explained. The elected representatives must be respected and I have all the respect for them the CJI said.

The vaccines pertaining to the courts must be filled on time and that will help in clearing the cases at a faster pace. CMs Jagan, Mamatha and yogi were seen prominently seated at the meeting.

KCR could not make it to the meeting. The local languages must be introduced in the practice of law he suggested. The people must understand the justice and the rule of law he opined.

India has been giving free legal services he stated. The Government has been very cooperative in the appointment of the judges for the last year he complimented.

The President of India Kovind has always been helpful to the judiciary. He also complimented PM Modi for his support to the judiciary.
