It looks like the people are moving away from the BJP. The opposition combine can trounce the BJP in the future. The message is loud and clear from the people that it cannot be a cake walk for the lotus. The Modi Shah combine is unable to make it to the extent possible.
It is better for the Modi Government to make a course correction in the policy matters. Especially the centre has to look at the petro rates, banking systems and also the GST. Otherwise, every fuel consumer might go against the BJP. Reducing one paisa and 5 paisa is not the right way.
The results in the by-elections show that the people are not with the BJP and it cannot be a one way game altogether in the near future. The local alliances are making it all the more difficult for the BJP. If this continues in the long run, the BJP will be in deep trouble. The regional parties are mounting the challenge against Modi and they are succeeding from time to time. If the Congress supports them, the BJP will have a tough time.
The alliances and joint ventures in politics are working against the BJP. The Congress is not gaining but it is helping the regional players to gain in trouncing and containing the BJP.
If these alliances continue and if they have an alternative to be pitted against Modi, like Pranab Mukherjee there is a chance that it might succeed. Losing Gorakhpur was the beginning of the end for BJP. They could make it at Karnataka, but could not get power as Congress sacrificed for the JDS.
The Dalit vote and the Minority vote is getting slowly consolidated against the BJP. If this continues then the BJP can forget about power in 2019.
The Maya, Mamatha, Akhilesh and Congress combine is going is working and it is effective against the Modi-Shah Jodi. This opposition combine is joined by KCR and Babu from the Telugu states and it becomes more powerful.
