With Advance booking itself Pathann the movie of SRK is all set to collect around Rs 25 crore it is reported. It is good for Bollywood and also SRK who was not doing well.
With the first-day collections together, SRK is poised to collect around 50 crore openings.
The advance bookings of Pathaan are incredible and so far more than 4.5 lahks were sold for the opening day (national chains only). The Bollywood biggie has already surpassed the record set by War and emerged as the film with the highest advance bookings.
But, to emerge as the film with the highest pre-sales ever in India (for day 1), Pathaan needs to cross the records set by KGF 2 (5.15 lakhs) and Baahubali 2 (6.50 lakhs).
By the end of today, more than 2 lakhs tickets to be sold for the opening day to break the Baahubali 2 record. We need to see whether Pathaan can make it .After some initial controversy on the saffron Bikini and some censor cuttings, the bookends are happening well.
SRK has not lost his touch and popularity even after giving some duds like zero to the industry. The next movie of SRK is with Atlee and popular actor Sethpathi is working with SRK.
After some initial hiccups, SRK is careful with the stories and directors that he is working with. The presence of Deepika has made all the difference to SRK this time with Pathaan.
