Indian food will outclass the western foods like Pizzas and burgers across the world Predicted the Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu. In the long run Idli, Sambar and dosa will phase these burgers and Pizzas he stated.
The India food is attracting the international attention and the idli, Dosa and Sambar are going international he said. The Pizzas and the so-called burgers will not stand in the long run he opined. The Idli and Sambar will dominate he stated.
The Vice President was speaking at the National Institute of Technology, Goa. Venkaiah is a food lover and a great host. His relatives have some chain of hotels which serve great traditional Indian meals. Venkaiah likes fish curry and pulkha roti.
He stated that there is no alternative to the fish curry from Goa. You will be tempted for the Goan fish curry he said. He pointed out Indian food has one of the oldest time-tested traditions and civilisations. He stated that India believes in the slogan that the world is one family that is Vasudaiva Kutumabakam.
One should remember that the former defence minister and the present CM of Goa Parrikar left Delhi and went back to Goa for the sake of food.
He told the scribes that he was missing the fish curry and is feeling sick of wanting Goan food. He went back to Goa for the CMs post finally to enjoy the traditional Goan fish curry.
