The hotels in Pune have started serving just half the glass of water. The idea is to save the water. The civic authorities have warned the citizens and other hotels to see that the water was not waste.Now in Pune, you will get only a half glass of water and then you can get the refill only after asking for it. The Pune civic authorities said that this is one way of saving the water. Hyderabad and other cities in the country must also follow this system whereby we would be saving the water.
Why only hotels, the Minister for Municipal administration KT Rama Rao must give a call to see that the citizens don’t waste water in functions, marriages and other get-togethers. We must give them only half a glass of water. Then if they want another half can be served. We can see people wasting water in disposable glasses and throwing the glasses along with the water in the plastic drums. That should be stopped. Instead of thinking it as half glass empty, they must think it as half glass full. That will save us a lot of water.
