The Government is not bothered about the plight of the people and it was very negligent in giving the Vaccine to the people of the country said Vara Prasad Reddy the owner of Shanta Biotech.
He said that the byelections are important, the MLA elections are important, the nominations of the MLCs are important the expansion of the party is important but not the lives of the people.
They behaved negligently in giving the vaccine he opined. The Government must have funding for the expansion of the VaccineVacine companies and double the production of the Vaccine he explained.
They bothered to export the vaccine rather than keeping it for the Indians. The policies were not right he said. The Central Government must have funded the companies for doubling the production of the vaccine by the local companies he said.
He reminded that the former President of the USA Trump funded the research and production of the Vaccine. He has purchased vaccine for the sake of the people of the USA he pointed out.
But our rulers were bothered about the elections where the Covid rules were thrown to the wind. We right now need 150 crore doses of vaccines he pointed out.
The Government failed to strategise the vaccination properly he said.
