People who came with a lot of expectations for early elections and new schemes were disappointed. The Pragathi Nivedana was a known thing and there was nothing new in it. No new schemes were announced for the people. He said that the election manifesto will give the details for the future.
This indicates that KCR will take some more time for the elections. The elections could be somewhere in January 2019 as being spelt out by the CM and TRS boss. It looks like he has taken a back step for now. The meeting has become a grand success and there was no proper reason as to why KCR wanted to give this progress report.
The cabinet meet could have made all the difference and changed the mind of KCR for the time being. There were no sparks in his speech nor did he make any jokes. It was dull and drab and recounting the old days. In fact, there was nothing new and we can say there is no news in his nivedana. It was like a presentation on what he has done. But there is nothing to show as to what he would like to do for the future. We have to wait for the election manifesto from K Kesava Rao.
The people were disappointed. His speech for the electricity employees was far better than the Pragathi Nivedana speech copy. It looks like he wanted to hold his horses back for the good and he exactly did that. But the people who came to the meeting said that there was nothing new. The media predictions went wrong for the time being.
