K Chandrasekhar Rao the Telangana CM has already set the ball rolling for the selection of candidates for the proposed election mostly in November or early 2019. The Congress party under Uttam Kumar has decided to set up an election committee for the selection of candidates and of course, the final nod will be from Kunthia and the chief Rahul Gandhi.
When it comes to TRS more or less the present MLAs will get the seat and there could be some minor changes. There is a chance that some of the TRS aspirants especially the new ones who don’t get seats could shift to the Congress just before the elections. But there is a huge demand for both the Congress and also the TRS seats.
There is a chance that KCR might plan the new election in such a fashion that whenever it is needed the power could be transferred to his son K Taraka Rama Rao. There is news that all the friends of KTR are the aspirants for MLA seats. Bonthu Ram Mohan the present Mayor is an aspirant from Uppal. The seat is now with BJP MLA NVS Prabhakar.
Some MLAs from the KCR core team that is Ministers like Harish, Etala Rajender, Srinivas Yadav, are set to contest as MPs and KCR might opt to go to Delhi, in the end, paving the way for KTR. There scope for KCR to be the Central Minister again in the BJP cabinet.
But there is good demand for the Congress seats also in some places. There are two congress aspirants also in some places. For TRS there is no limit, but mostly the sitting MLAs will be confirmed. Otherwise they may shift to the Congress or BJP.
We can say that the election heat has started in Telangana.
