There are 3 days for the withdrawal of Nominations here in Telangana. All the parties have rebels in the fray. If they are withdrawn it would be safe for the real candidates.
Congress and TRS are the major parties who are trying to cajole and pacify the rebels. Congress has a number of rebels when compared to the other parties. Now that the TJS and Congress have parted ways, they will become opponents. Earlier there was an understanding and now that it has failed they would fight each other.
It could be a four-cornered contest in Telangana with the main fight between the Congress and TRS. The BJP and the TJS would be just marginal fighters and they would not influence the election in more than 10 constituencies.
The TRS may arrest the rebel problem with Harish Rao and KTR the care ministers tacking the issue at ground level. Even KCR may also talk to them if needed.
But the Congress rebels will remain in the contest and that will mar the chances of the Congress candidates to a larger extent. KCR has started the campaign pounding and he would continue it till 25th of this month.
The real campaign can be witnessed once the withdrawal of nominations is complete. PM Modi, BJP chief Amit Shah, Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, TRS chief KCR, Son KTR- TDP chief Chandrababu, MLA Balakrishna are lined up for the election campaign.
Kukatpally is poised to witness a colourful campaign this time.
