The Shape Of Water won the top prize of the night – Best Picture. The Best Actor Oscar was awarded to Gary Oldman for his portrayal of the protagonist in war drama Darkest Hour while Frances McDormand won Best Actress for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Guillermo del Toro won Best Director for fantasy romance The Shape Of Water, which has already taken two other Oscars at the awards gala.
