The leaders of the opposition in Telangana are shattered. Almost more than 20 lakh people have come to the Pragathi Nivedana meeting here in Hyderabad. People across the state braved all the odds and rain to come to the meeting. Perhaps this is the first meeting where people have come one day in advance to hear the Gulabi boss reel out the progress report for the 4 years.
But KCR did not speak in his usual style and was holding the information back. That is a different matter, but people came for him in large numbers and the meeting was a stupendous success. Getting people in that large scale and managing them is not an easy task.
It is reported that KCR is planning for another meeting to announce his political strategy for the future soon. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav lashed out at the TPCC chief Uttam Kumar that he should go for a test under the scheme of Kanti Velugu so that he would be able to see properly that more than 20 lakh people turned up for the meeting.
The leaders of the opposition are shattered and now they are sure that the Congress is in no way winning the elections and that there was no possibility. The people are with TRS and KCR and that has been proved beyond doubt.
The question is why KCR did not open at the meeting. What made him hold back is the question. The other day he was seen jubilant at the meeting with the Electricity board employees.
He was cutting jokes, laughing with them and offered whatever was possible to them. But yesterday evening he was a man who has withdrawn into the shell. He just read out a prepared note. He used the word Maha Prabhanjanam which earlier was the pet word of the senior NTR. But the people came to Hyderabad expecting a lot. More than the people the opposition was disappointed as they were expecting elections soon.
