Sirikonda Madusudhana Chary is likely to be made the Chairman of the Upper House Legislative Council, going by the fact that he had the experience of serving as the Speaker of the Assembly.
Now he is the MLC under the Governors quota.
On the other hand, former Rajya Sabha member Banda Prakash who was elected to the Telangana Legislative Council is likely to be made the Deputy Chairman of the House.
Sirikonda Madusudhana Chary travelled with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS), who went on to become the first Speaker of the Telangana Assembly.
When Telangana went for the elections after the bifurcation of the state in 2014, Chary was made the Assembly Speaker.
Chary was an old guard and was in the core team of the TRS Chief KCR from the agitation days. After that, there was a brief gap between KCR and Chary, but now the same has been closed by making Chary the MLC.
