The Doctors are on a strike across the Nation. It first started in Kolkata when the attendants have beaten up the doctors here for not taking care of the patients. The junior doctors were beaten up black and blue when a patient died due to the negligence of junior doctors it is alleged.
The Junior doctors were on strike for the last 4 days and the talks between the Government and doctors failed.
The Government and the police assured that the doctors will be given protection but the talks failed. Taking this into serious consideration the Junior doctors supported the cause of Kolkata doctors. As a result, all the junior doctors across the country are on a strike.
AIIMS in Delhi, NIMS in Hyderabad, Maharashtra, Chattisgarh and other states are facing the strike from the Junior Doctors. They have come with some latest demands also it is reported.
With the Junior doctors on Strike, the hospitals are facing the severe crunch of manpower. The patients are in trouble in many of the Government hospitals across the country. Junior doctors were seen wearing helmets and bandages to show that they need protection from the attendants of the patients. Some were seen wearing Black badges and black ribbons around the neck.
The strike by the Junior docs is likely to be intensified and there is every need for the intervention of the Government.
