With Governor of Maharashtra inviting Fdnvais the BJP leader to form the Government, the number game begins. Fadnavis the caretaker chief minister was invited by the Governor to form the Government as the BJP is the single largest party.

Next comes Shiv Sena. But Shiv Sena is demanding the CMs post for which BJP is not agreeing. NCP and the Congress have decided not to support the Shiv Sena. The magic figure is 145. Sena has got 56 while BJP has 105.
The BJP needs another 40 members and has to prove the majority on the floor of the house.

There are allegations that the BJP is trying to buy MLAs at an amount of Rs 50 crore. On the other hand, the NCP leader who chose to sit in the opposition would meet President Ramnath Kovind.

Pawar would explain to the status of Maharashtra here in Delhi to the President of India. At the same time, Shiv Sena has already shifted the Sena MLAs to another destination to avoid the poaching of BJP. Now the only alternative for the BJP is to cajole Shiv Sena to join the Government and take the Deputy CM post or agree for the 50/50 option.

Nitin Gadkari the Union Minister for Transport is overseeing the Maharashtra developments. He would meet Uddhav Thackerey the Sena chief again to negotiate for forming the Government.
