Both Hit and Jersey remakes in Hindi are losses to Dil Raju who is just used to profits only. The calculations of Dil Raju the mega-producer went wrong due to Corona and other issues.
Maybe on OTT Rajul will fully recover it is learnt. But they are flops according to the collections. Even the calculations of people like Allu Aravind are going wrong these days.
Many of the movies are not having collections in the Telugu states. It looks like the audience is waiting for a big movie and they are expecting content like Vikram.
But movies like Vikram and KGF or Pushpa will not come every day. You really do not know what really clicks with the audience. Akhanda is a movie which really took the box office by storm.
It was a hit in other languages also. The industry now needs such kinds of movies. Earlier the producers used to make the money with the second release if it was a flop.
Now we can make the money on OTT. So a big gun like Raju need not bother about the losses. Boney Kapoor was also involved in Jersey. So it was a calculated risk.
