It is Shalini Gupta for SP in UP and it was Laxmi Parvathi for TDP in AP which changed the power equations. NTR was sidelined then by Babu and now Mulayam is being sidelined by his own Son . Of course Amarsingh the senior leader has his own interest to be protected in this power game.
The ladies have created their own groups and wanted to promote their own kith and kin for their better future.But finally the power went to the powerful people who could lobby and mobilise the legislators.
Akhilesh along with 201 MLAs formed a strong group and they were not liking the attitude of Mulayam influenced by his second wife Sadhana Gupta. They were annoyed with the attitude of Mulayam who was being guided and controlled by the second wife .
Mulayam and his brother Shivpal had the support of few MLAs and they were not in control of the situation. It was the attitude and control of Akhilesh that kept MLAs from attacking Mulayam from time to time it is reported. Akhilesh has no other option but to grab the power from Mulayam for the good of the state.
When it comes to TDP, it was Lakshmi Parvathi who was misguided by some Ministers with vested interests started influencing NTR the then CM. NTR was almost isolated from the family members and also the MLAs resulting in Chandrababu to take the drastic step of dethroning NTR with the help of his own family members. They still call this as backstabbing by Chandrababu.
Chandrababu Naidu with the guidance of some Media Moguls staged the viceroy coup and came into power.Now Babu is in power and his son Lokesh is waiting. NTRs son MLA Balakrishna is also waiting.
In UP both son and father tried to come to an understanding but it did not materialise. Now they are fighting for the Cycle symbol and have complained to the EC. It is likely that the CEC might freeze the symbol for the time being and both the warring groups will be at loss.
