Except for the main temples, all other small Temples are still closed and there is no darshan for the pilgrims due to Corona. Varaha Swamy Temple which is supposed to be seen first is also closed.
People who go to Tirumala must first visit Varaha Swamy take his permission and then visit the Lord Balaji apart from having a spiritual bath at the Pushkarani.
Now the Pushkarini is also closed as the waters may cause Corona. There is less spirituality and more of commercial activity on the TTD now. Pilgrims are going in and coming out without any Harathi, Prasadam so on and so forth.
The Papa Vinasanam waterfalls are also closed. Pilgrims are wearing masks, but there is no social distancing and sanitation on the Tirumala and even at the tonsuring centres.
Except for the main Temples all others Gods must be crazy that there is no one coming to worship them and they are locked. All the big hotels on the TTD are closed as they don’t have proper business.
Small eateries are open sharing as they like. The laddu prices are doubled, the room rents are doubled. The TTD is being run like a commercial venture where profit and loss and measured.
The Nada Neerajan program has no quality performers and there are no audience to encourage them. The performers are doing it for the sake of cameras and SVBC channel.
The Gods will be released from the lock and key of the Corona goes away from us. Getting no free prasadam in the TTD is a big disappointment.
