The Petrol rate per litre in Mumbai is Rs 91. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the rate per litre is Rs 91.10 in the financial capital of India. This shows that the Government led by Narendra Modi is not bothered to control the prices.

They have been on a steady rice from time to time soon after the completion of elections in Karnataka.

The Government tried to reduce the petrol price on the day of polling and also before the polling in Karnataka.

In Delhi, the rate per litre is Rs83.50, while It is Rs 86.80 in Chennai. In Kolkata, the fuel was hovering around 84.50. The diesel is hovering around Rs 80 in all the states.

The centre blames the rise in petrol prices on the rise in crude rates internationally. Since the fuel prices are monitored on daily basis the rise is also recorded. The trend is that the Petrol and Diesel are rising without any control.
