Free food is one of the main services of the TTD and there have been many complaints that cheap stuff was being served and money was made in the process. The new EO wanted to serve good food to the pilgrims as there no compromise for funds and the funds were being given by the pilgrims as charity.
There is no dearth for funds EO Sri J Syamala Rao on Sunday night dined at Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasadam Complex in Tirumala along with the devotees.
After inspecting queue lines he visited MTVAC and checked the storing,cooking, and serving procedures and made some valuable suggestions to the officials concerned.
Later he interacted with the devotees over the taste of delicacies and collected their feedback. The TTD officers have not change and go for the good service practices. There is no way you can escape and the new EO is strict.
JEO for Health and Education Smt Goutami, CVSO Sri Narasimha Kishore and other senior officers of TTD were also present.
