From 2019 onwards abusing of the Hindu Gods, desecration of the gods statues has been going on in the state of Andhra Pradesh. But no stern action has been taken to stop this. Lot of changes have been made in the TTD also.
The people have been questioning this from time to time but no concrete measures have been taken to protect the interest of the Hindus in general and the Temples in particular.
1. On 14nth November 2019 Durgamatha Temple in Guntur was partly damaged by unknown persons.
2. on 21st January 2020 23 idols of Anjaneya Temple were desecrated.
3. On 11nth February idol of Lord Srikrishna was abused in Rompicherla Venugopala Swamy Temple.
4. On 13 nth February the arch of Ammvari Temple was demolished in Undrajavaram Mandalam of Suryapalem.
5. On 14nth February 2020 the Chariot of Prasanna Venkateshwara Temple was gutted in Nellore district.
6. On6th September 2020 The chariot of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy was gutted at Antharvedi.
7. On 13nth Sept 2020 the Silver Lions of Durga Temple were lost in Vijayawada.
8. On 15nth Septemeber Sai Baba statues were desecrated in Krishna district.
9. On 16nth September Hanuman idol was descreated in the Sree Seetharamanjaneya Vyayamshala at Yeleshwaram.
10. on 16nth September the idols of Nagamayya Temple were destroyed in Guntur district.
11. On 17nth September 2020 a Nandi statue and the doors of the Temple were destroyed in Krishna district of Vatsavai Mandal.
12. On 19nth September 2020 the statue of Lord Shiva was destroyed in Chintapally village of Vishakapatnam.
13. on 20th September Ayyappa Idol was destroyed in Narsapuram of West Godavary district.
14. On 23rd September Anjaneya idol was descreated in the market yard of Kurnool district.
15. On 25th Septmber another Anjaneya idol was destroyed in Nayduupeta municipality of Nellore district.
16. On 5th October 2020 the Snake padagalu over the Narsimha Swamy Idol were destroyed in Kurnool district near Mantralayam.
17. On6th October Hanuman idol was destroyed in Kurnool district near Adoni over bridge.
18. On 6th Ocotober the idol of Saraswathi matha was descrated in Guntur district at Narsaraopeta.
19.On 17nth October the dome of the Sree Veerabhadarm Swamy temple has been destroyed in Turlapadu village.
20. After that another Hanuman Idol was destroyed in Yanma Bye pass road of East Godavari.
21. Idol of Rama was beheaded in Ramatheertham. This is a 400 year old Temple on the Hills.
So far no proper action has been initiated in any of the issues reported above.
