Ganeshas are made in various forms and also various materials. Some people make Ganapathy with paper. Some others make it with spices. Now in Bangalore people have made it with currency. We can call it as currency Ganesha. It is made of 21 types of Currency. It is not the real currency but the fake ones which depict 21 countries currency notes.
There are Ganeshas ready for installation with gold plating and some are with silver plating. Some other places in sural some of them have studded the Ganesha’s with diamonds.
But all said and done the Lal Bagh ki Raja and the Khairatabad Ganesha in Hyderabad are very popular. It is followed by clay Ganesha of Visakhapatnam which will be the tallest like Khairagtbad one and immersed at the spot by sprinkling water.
Ganesha in the form of Sri Venkateshwara, in the form of Srikrishna with Gopikas, on the shoulders of Hanuman, dancing Ganesha on the snake are being made. Police Ganesha, Scientist Ganesha, Pahelwan Ganesha are some of the popular formof the idol.
All get worshipped for 10 days and then go for the Nimajjan. Popular politicians and also businessmen like Ambani visit Lal Bagh Ki Raja. Khairatabad Ganesha is also visited by VVIPs like Governor and the Chief Minister KCR here in Hyderabad.
