Hyderabad accounted for around 50 percent of office space absorption in the country. However, as the new office bearers are in the West such as Hitech City.
Gachibowli and Financial District are saturated; the fresh office space supply may reel under pressure. Hence, to bat away the problem, LEAP is an excellent proposal by the Telangana government under the guidance of KTR the Minister for IT and Industries.
It is to curb the traffic snarls and rising pollution levels in the western part of the city but would also open the floodgates of opportunities for IT/ITeS firms in the eastern peripheries.
”The transformation is unlikely to happen overnight. It has taken years before East Hyderabad has grown on par with the West.
Big developers and investors have started moving toward the east. Once the infrastructure facilities are in place, the area has witnessed unprecedented growth as has been the case with the Financial District.
Further, the implementation of the project and the intent of the government to develop the project has also played a crucial role in attracting potential investors.
Now that the basic infrastructure is being developed in a big way Offices are being located towards the Eastern part of the City.
This is part of the LEAP suggested by KTR the Minister for IT and Industries.
