Will the TRS government agree to the alteration or scrapping of the master plan in Kama Reddy? Security was ramped up across the Kamareddy district when farmers from Adloor, Adloor Yellareddy, Ilchipur, where the industrial zone is proposed, arrived in groups and staged rasta rokos and dharnas demanding the scrapping of the proposed industrial zone, while raising slogans against the BRS government, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and government whip Gampa Govardhan.
As both the BJP and Congress pledged their support for the bandh, the police arrested numerous leaders as a precautionary measure and took them into police custody.
There is a talk in political circles that the issue is being continued to divert attention from some other issues in general.
It is keeping the BJP busy for that matter. The Congress is also busy with the master plan matter. All the farmers want is to see that they get assurance.
KTR the Minister for IT in fact has assured that the farmers, in general, will not have any trouble. The master plan is to improve the situation and pave way for the future development.
CM KCR is already reviewing the matter it is reported. Lets hope the issue will be resolved amicably and collector would take interest in the matter.
