Except for Punjab, the BJP is dominant in the other four states. It is a major indication of the coming polls in India. The Congress is now where, and no one cared Priyanka Gandhi we can say.
The Opposition has no narrative to counter the BJP as yet. The religious dominance and nationalism of the BJP are very evident and people like to identify themselves with the same.
This is the wake-up call for the Opposition, especially the Congress Party. Congress has to reinvent itself for reaching out to the people in the coming days.
The BJP must also think about containing the AAP in the country. These results will give a new Philip to the party in the State of Telangana where it is making inroads against the ruling party.
The Kejriwal mode of Governance is catching up in the country. It looks like they are set to expand across the country. Winning the UP is itself is like a battle half won for the BJP for the coming General elections.
We have to see if the BJP would go for an early poll before 2024. But all said and done we cannot say that it is the end of the road for the Congress party.
There is a talk that the BJP might change the PM this time after the general elections and Modi could be the next PM of the country.
