In the name of peoples blessing, K Chandrasekhar Rao the TRS chief and the caretaker CM of Telangana will be starting the election campaign, the very next day after dissolving the Assembly. The meeting is arranged by Harish Rao the close confidant of KCR and more than a lakh people are expected to attend.
KCR earlier also started the campaign from this place as it is situated in the east of Telangana. He came to power from this place and wants to start the campaign again from the same place and the target is 100 seats. KCR knows that the TRS is strong in 60 constituencies and the other places he has to work hard. The MIM will give him support with 7 or 8 seats this time. 100 seats and hundred meetings in 50 days is the agenda.
KCR told the media yesterday as to why he dissolved the Assembly and today he will talk to the people on the consequences of going for the dissolution of the first Assembly of Telangana. He might also reveal some of the items of the proposed election manifesto for the coming elections. More or less the elections would be conducted in November or December along with the other 4 states under one year one election strategy of the election commission.
KCR already talked to the CEC when he was in Delhi and saw to it that the things fall in place. KCR is expected to talk for an hour or more in his usual style. Before that, he would be visiting the local Lord Balaji Temple and take blessings as he did earlier in 2004. Last time he got more than 60 seats and this time he is aiming for around 100 seats. That means he is leaving a dozen seats to the opposition leaving the MIM.
Lets hope he will achieve the target.
