Now the names Telugu Naidus are in circulation. Yes for the post of the President of India .The name of Venkaiah Naidu who was party President earlier was in circulation, but Venkaiah said that he will not be Rashtrpathi and he is just pathi for his wife.
Now the name of another prominent Telugu Naidu Chandrababu Naidu is in the air. There are news reports being aired n TV Channels that he is going to be the president of India. Earlier his name was in circulation for Prime Minister of India and it seems Babu has clarified that his son Lokesh stopped him to confine to the state and not at the National level.
As the President of India Pranab Mukherjee’s term is nearing completion, there has been a great debate on who’s going to be in fray for the next President. With the likes of Advani, Venkaiah from BJP have ruled out their chances for the country’s top post, naturally all eyes are on who’s going to be the next President.
Given BJP and NDA’s landslide majority and even many of Opposition parties expressed their support to NDA, it turned out to be more interesting that who’ll be PM Modi’s choice.
Interestingly, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s name has been propped up. Although it’s far from reality and Naidu won’t evince interest, none other than his own party senior leaders expressing the elevation of Chandrababu for the President post. Sr TDP leader TG Venkatesh opined that CM Chandrababu Naidu should be made the President and IT Minister Nara Lokesh be made the AP CM. Now it looks like Venkatesh is following the foot steps of JC brothers who are taking Naidu to cloud 9 from time to time.
Looks like, Venkatesh has made these remarks to gain marks from junior boss and future leader Nara Lokesh in order to be in the good books of both Naidu, Lokesh.
But both the Naidus want to be active and they dont want to become the heads of the Nation.
