BRS MLC and daughter of KCR, K Kavitha demanded that the Telangana Thalli statue must be installed in the state secretariat. But she did not oppose the installation of the state of Rajiv Gandhi in the state secretariat.
Kavitha said that they have all the respect for Rajiv Gandhi the former PM of India. There was a talk that the Telangana Thalli statue designed earlier looked like Kavitha and the Government wants to replace it.
Kavitha urged the CM that the Telangana Thalli statue should be installed and not the Rajiv Gandhi statue. There is a talk that the Congres Government is installing the statue of Rajiv Gandhi in place of the Telangana Thalli in the state Secretariat.
Kavitha is also fighting for the installation of Mahatma Phule in the premises of the Assembly. She is representing the matter from time to time.
KTR the working President of the BRS said that fighting against Congress was not new to them.
We fought a pitched battle on the streets against Congress and got the statehood for Telangana he said. KTR has been aggressively leading the fight against the ruling party in the Assembly.
Both the Congress and the BRS are fighting tooth and nail against each other in the Assembly on various issues. KCR on the other hand is not attending the Assembly. He has attacked the Congress government in his address at the Nalgonda meeting.
