Digital economy should become a way of life and it would lead to transparency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the BJP’s Parliamentary Party meeting on the Parliament premises on Friday.
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao said that he is supporting the move of PM Modi to stop black money and also the demonetisation move in the country. He made this statement in the winter session of the Assembly on the very first day.
BJP floor leader Kishan Reddy said that there will be some pain in the process and that the people and the sytem must absorb this for some time for long term benefits.
Leader of the Opposition Jana Reddy from the Congress party said that while the CM was supporting the centre and the BJP Government, he must also ensure that people will not have any problems in the near future because of the demonetisation.
MIM floor leader in the Assembly Akbaruddin Owisi said that more money is coming into the banks than the estimates of the Government. You cannot stop the corruption he opined. One must stop collecting money in the name of political parties he suggested. The BJP and the Congress have collected 5450 crores in the name of political parites he said.
The Prime Minister said at the meeting that earlier the government used to indulge in scams and the Opposition used to unite to expose it. Now the government is fighting black money and the Opposition is uniting to oppose that.
But despite the requests being made by the center and states there is no substantial increase in digital payments. The Banks still says no cash after 30 days. People are still in lines in front of banks and some of them are dying in front of banks.
RBI says it will take another 3 weeks for the system to get rejunevated. But unofficial estaimtes show that it could take another 6 months time for the banks to get the money fully circulated.
