Sharath K, a 26-year-old student from Telangana was shot dead by unknown persons. They fired at him in a restaurant at Kansas city, The family members received the information yesterday.
Sharat was studying at the University of Missouri-Kansas city in UMKC it is reported.
The shooting took place at a place called Js fish and Chicken market and some other say it is a restaurant. The reasons for shooting Sharat are not known. Sharat received five bullet injuries from the back.
The gun was aimed at the restaurant owner and when he ducked Sharat started running towards the entrance and was fired at his back. The information was given by one of his cousins. More details are awaited.
The Kansas City police are investigating the case and a visual from the CC Tv footage is being released to identify the culprit.
