After a long gap, the state secretariat in front of Hussain Sagar has come back to life. It was Minister for Home Mahamood Ali who occupied his chamber first in the new Government. Today some more ministers joined him and have taken over the Chambers.
Minister for Education Jagadish Reddy and Minister for Agriculture Niranjan also have occupied the chambers.
After a long time, there was some work for the media also. Vedic hymns recited by the purohits reverberated in the chambers of Secretariat after a long time. Otherwise, there was just regular Puja in the chambers of Media advisor Ramana Chary. He was one man who comes to the secretariat on a regular basis in his car with a nameplate carrying number 1.
Today the canteen also looked full with visitors pouring in for tea and snacks. Ever since the chief Minster KCR started using Pragathi Bhavan for his regular official activity the state secretariat became dull and drab.
Now the Government is planning to build a New secretariat in Secunderabad. But let’s hope till such time the old secretariat will come back to life and there will be a whole lot of activity.
let’s hope the Chief Minister KCR also will come to the state secretariat one day soon. But from Friday the Budget presentation will be there in the Assembly and the activity will shift from the state secretariat to the state Assembly.
