The state election commission is working with the Chief Election commissioner Delhi to see that the elections are conducted in the last week of November. The TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao who is the caretaker Chief Minister has already selected and fixed Muhuratam in December for the swearing Ceremony.

September 25 has been fixed for finalising the electoral rolls. Meanwhile, some cases have been filed against the TRS in the court saying that a lakh of youth would be losing the right to vote. But the TRS is confident that it would come through all the cases and the elections would happen in November.

KCR the Telangana CM has been working on all the modalities from the beginning and he has got the leaders and the cadre ready for the same. He has announced the list of 105 candidates also. All of them are in the field and campaigning.

Top leaders like Harish Rao, Kavitha and KTR are also campaigning in the districts. The Congress is yet to decide on the list and the main campaign is yet to start. It is bogged down with internal bickerings. The BJP is nowhere, here the top leaders, campaigners and the contestants are the same and they may not retain the sitting seats. The TDP and the Congress along with the communists are fighting the election.

It will a triangular contest between the TRS-BJP and the TDP-Congress combine. The TRS has all the advantage of forming the Government.
