The Telangana Government has made rapid strides in various sectors said K Taraka Rama Rao the Minister for IT and Industries. The Kaleshwaram project is one of worlds best irrigation projects which has been done at a record time with a cost outlay of around Rs 80000 crore KTR explained.
He was talking at a seminar organised by CRISIL. The state is making rapid strides in Industrial development, agriculture, water distribution, drinking water and all other sectors he said.
Power distribution has been the major factor where quality power was being given to industries. He added that no government was giving free power to the farming community like Telangana.
He also talked about the financial help being extended to the farmers. He was talking at the India infrastructure conclave where he explained about the avenues and also the employment generation here in Telangana.
It is the youngest state and all other states are now following Telangana when it comes to welfare schemes he explained. KTR said that 26 irrigation projects are in pipeline and they are being completed at a faster pace.
